Fixed axis range on x and y axis not working like expected

Post by ganshorn.nils »

Hello,

I have chart with stacked columns and I want to set a fixed range on the x and y axis. With auto scaling the chart looks quite ok, but I want to have a fixed range on the x-axis so I can align it with another chart. The range shall be from 0-10 (and the y-axis from 1-3), If I set the x axing to 0 to 10 it is scaled correctly, but the y-axis is very compressed.

What can I do, it seems like there is an aspect ratio enforced here?

Greetings

Nils

All auto - What I would like is this with the x-axis from 0 to 10. I also have a filter in this chart only allowing values >= 0, but it doesn't prevent auto scaling to -2.

Hello.

Sorry, but we can't reproduce this issue.
Could you send us a sample report template with data?

Thank you.

Hi,

this should show the problem.

There is one sql datasource but it contains the values directly so it doesn't matter which actual database connection exists.

Hello.

We don't see any issue.
Could you specify what chart do you need to get?

Thank you.

Hello,

I need the second chart (from top) but with x axis range 0 to 10 and the y axis not squashed but the whole width being used (so that e.g. the labels can be read).
Look at the last chart, please, for an issue. I set the range to 0 to 10 but it shows sth. with 2 in the middle
Look at the chart before that for another possible issue. I set the range to 1 to 3 but the values are squashed to the left side, maybe there is an option to spread the y axis values evenly with no big space left unused, but I didn't find it.

The last two pictures are the same chart with the same settings, one with the properties I set on the x axis and the other for the properties of the y axis.

Greetings

Nils

Thank you, too.
OT: This build will be a pre release built? Will there be other notable changes in there or just bugfixes?
