Does my version not include Pie Charts?

Hi all,

I am trying to add a pie chart in the designer for Reports.Web version 2011.3.1200, but I am not finding the option for that. Is this something not included in our version? Or am I just not finding the option to add a pie chart? When I add a chart to a band, the only options I have in the series editor are: Clustered Column, Line, Stepped Line, Spline, Area, Stepped Area, and Spline Area. Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance!

In Web version the Pie chart has been added some versions later than 2011.3.

Another question - if we were to upgrade to the latest version of Reports.Web/Designer.Web, A: is that a relatively easy process? And B: would the newer version be backwards compatible?

Hello.

You could open all your reports in the newer build. But there could be a error in you open the report template in the older builds.

To upgrade you should just replace the assemblies on build your project again.

Just curious again about going through an update procedure. Would I just be updating to the latest version of Reports.Web? Would I additionally need to update the designer separately or anything else? Are all charts/graphs available, or do certain licenses contain certain types? Thanks again in advance for your help!
