Cross tab in databand

Post by flo78 »

Hello,

I have some troubles with the display of a cross tab. I put it into an unbound databand, so that it's position considers header and footer bands, etc.
The cross tab's property "print title on all pages" is set to true.
But on the following pages there is left some empty space on the top, or there are displayed some rows first before the title is displayed.
Besides, the lines between the rows are irregular, or there is left free space between rows.
All those things do not happen when you put the cross tab directly on the page. But then you have the problem that it's position and size is absolute, so you cannot use e.g. report headers.

Version is 2012.1

Thank you very much

Hello,

Unfortunately, on current moment, it is working as is.
We have plans to rebuild the CrossTab engine but i can not say when it will be available.

Sorry.

We had a similar issue and have informed support a long time ago about this.

Sadly nothing has happened and unfortunatly this makes the crosstab unusable for us.

We do not need another type of web viewer implementation in the web or another designer. We need a working crosstab component where the crosstabs spans more than one page correctly even if the page has headers and footers.

Thank you

Hello,

Unfortunately, at the moment it is not possible to make any drastic improvements and bug fixes in the cross-tab, because this causes unstable operation of the component as a whole.
To the official release in March, we are planning to release a new component PivotGrid, which has a wide range of options and which will be similar to the cross-tab functionality.

Thank you.
