In version 2021.3.5 the preview is a bit wonky but it prints to PDF correctly so it seems to me that you're close

any report template works, as soon as the report has a barcode or a shape the error occurs.

Hi, when using barcodes and shapes in the blazor version of the reports they are displayed correctly in the designer but not in the preview. And, actually, in the latest version (2021.3.6) the preview fails with the error "Either the image format is unknown or you don't have the required librar...
