Difference between Render and RenderWithWpf

Can someone tell me what is the difference between the .Render and the .RenderWithWpf Methode
and when should I use one or the other

If you want to view a report on WPF, you should use the RenderWithWpf method. This method is used by the WPF technology for correct rendering.
The Render method uses GDI.

can there be a problem when I use RenderWithWpf without using any WPF technology?
For example if I have a service on a Server which produces only PDFs with
Stimulsoft.Reports.Wpf. Is this a problem when I use RenderWithWpf?
