Hello,
For many of the reports I write, I use picklist variables. Usually the lists are not that long and its easy for users to scroll down and pick
the option they are interested in. I have one report though where there are hundreds of options and the options all begin with a 6 digit
numeric value; something like the following....
100331 - West Area Headquarters
100332 - East Area Headquarters
....
113456 - Southwest Field Office
113457 - Big Mountain Field Office
113458 - River Valley Headquarters
I've attached a screenshot of how I've setup the variable. Is there a way to control or increase the number of type ahead characters in the picklist control
so that a user could type in 113 to get closer to the option they want rather than having to scroll through the list? Should I be using a different kind of
variable?
I am still using Stimulsoft Reports.Web 2017.1.6 from June 3, 2017, ASP.NET, Flex.
Thanks,
Carl
