PageNofM isn't showing up on page 2

Hello,

First time posting here. Hoping this is an easy one.

I'm building a report which allows the user to add columns to it from left to right. The report has a PageFooterBand1 with {PageNofM} in it. What we are finding is that this works fine until the report has more than 7 columns of data and it pushes it to create a second page.

Here's what we were hoping would happen:

First 6 columns show up on page 1, followed by page footer :

Page 1 of 2

7th column shows up on page 2, page footer band also outputs page number:

|
Page 2 of 2.

The data bands in the report work great - unfortunately page 2 does not populate with the page number, there's no "Page 2 of 2". I expect I'm missing a setting somewhere, could someone point me in the right direction?
