Hi,
I am pretty new in using Stimulsoft for creating reports in our application.
We use the Version 2017.1.7, but I reproduced the problem I have also on Stimulsoft Demo (Version 2020.3.2) from the cloud.
The problem is in general, that I don't get the value of a parameter displayed, but only the ID. I found something about using the Tags, but I couldn't apply it successfully.
Tested on:
ChartOnDataband: https://demo.stimulsoft.com/#Net/ChartOnDataband
Parameter: TEST
Keys: Categories.CategoryID
Values: Categories.CategoryName
I need the Category Name to be displayed closed to the title of the Chart, but I only get the ID displayed.
I couldn't find anything helpful in the forum or in the manual.
I also have a filter in the chart similar to this (same expression type):
If anybody as a hint for me, how to fix my problem, that would be very helpful.
Best regards
Francesca

Re: Parameter ID vs. Name
Hello,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to use Key and Value separately, in the report is used only Key value.
Thank you.

Thanks Lech for your feedback. Is there any workaround I could apply?
We have different reports/customers asking for it...

Hello,
Unfortunately, at the current moment, no.

Re: Parameter ID vs. Name
OK, maybe my "own" workaround could be useful to any other user here:
I suggested my customers to use a manual variable (string), where the user can enter manually the "Name" instead of the Key and this will be shown in the report:
here are the settings of the variable and here is the result (I put it on the bottom for layout reasons)
