viewer shows wrong data / relations don't work in PHP viewer

Post by andreb »

Hi,

My report shows wrong data in the viewer. It works fine in the designer. I use 2019.4.2.
The issue is visible in the enclosed image.
Based on extensive experimenting I can tell the issue is related to the use of variables and/or relations.
I think it is an old problem which was solved in previous versions, but somehow came up again.

Could you please help.
Enclosed you find the mysql script files, the report.mrt and the publish package.

Best regards, André

Hi Lech,

The files have been attached to the original post. (The uploading failed previously but now I managed to upload the files)
The report is in the report file report.mrt.
The mysql database can be created by using the script in stimultestdb.txt.
The show-report-php-pack is the file which has been created when I publish.

When you preview the report in the designer it shows other results than the viewer after publising.
I can't get the relations work properly in the viewer, which results in empty databands but only after publishing. Without relations, the results in designer and viewer are both okay.
You can see the issue in the picture. Left is the result in the viewer (which is wrong), right is the result in the designer (which is okay).

Hope this helps.

Best regards, Andre

Hi Lech,

Please let me know if you need additional information regarding the issue.
So bottom line: Relations work in the designer, but not in the viewer. It does not work in 2020.1.1 either.
