Hi Support.
I have discovered a possible bug in version 2020.1 (see attached screenshot) :
So, the variable value is not updated after I set it in "Parameters" window while Preview.
However, it works as planned in 2019.4.2.
Please provide feedback if this is a bug or I have used something wrong.

Just a follow-up. This does not affect Java (if I use latest JAR's from 2020.1).
