Color bug with shapes (SOLVED)
Currently in Designer.exe (JS_2016.08.12) when adding a new shape, the preview color box in Appearance > Brush color popup doesn't show up so when you change the color values nothing happens. To get it working you need to first press like Empty and then again the default one Solid, now its working as it should.

Re: Color bug with shapes
Hello,
We can't reproduce the error.
We run Designer.exe and create a new Shape, change the brush color to another in the properties panel - color is displayed correctly.
Also we try to change the color on ribbon panel, the color also displayed correctly.
Windows 10 x64
Please let us know the OS version, as well please check this action with the Web designer on your computer.
Thank you.

Re: Color bug with shapes
1. Add a shape
2. Appearance
3. Brush color dropdown > "More colors"
As you can see, no preview of the color in the popup. If you change color nothing happens.

Hello.
The alpha channel is for transparency.
The color has 100% transparency.
Please, change Alpha to 255.
Thank you.

Re: Color bug with shapes
I see, but why is it defaulted to 0 for default "solid"? I see now that when I press "Empty" and then "Solid" again as was the default the alpha is set to 255 but initial its set to 0.
Re: Color bug with shapes
Hello.
It's 0 by default because the fill of the shape is transparent by default.
When you set the Solid color the default color of the Solid Brush is taken. And it's white.
We understand some inconvenience in selecting color and will discuss with our time if it's possible to change something.
Thank you.
