Exporting report to PDF, Doc and Excel Formats omits text

Hi,

In a separate post viewtopic.php?f=18&t=44731 , it is mentioned that there is an issue in text fields which have the 'Allow HTML Tags' property set to on are not exported to PDF or other document formats. I have encountered the same exact issue in Reports.JS, and while it is mentioned that this has been fixed for Reports.PHP, I am not sure if the same has been done for Reports.JS

Your assistance is appreciated since we have a deadline to deliver a sample of report which includes special characters and html formatted text.

Unfortunately, at the current moment, HTML tags are not supported in the export to PDF in the JS version.

Hi Thanks for the reply.

Is there any work around for this? Note that not even special characters such as Euro sign cannot be printed, because the UTF-8 Encoding needs the Allow HTML Tags set to On in order to work.

Note that this is an essential requirement for us. Please advise, at least how to go around in exporting UTF-8 characters.
