Designer for Linux?

Post by pcady »

When I expand the file Designer.tar.gz in the Designers->JS-Linux directory in the latest zip stimulsoft-reports-2018.2.1-pack.zip, I can't locate any executable file.

There is a file called Designer but it is listed as a non-executable shared library.

My system is Centos 7, 64bit running Mate desktop.

What am I missing?

Thanks.

Hello,

Please try to set attributes for running:
chmod +x Designer
./Designer

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. The file already was executable and while it wouldn't open from the file manager, it did open from a shell.

However, after a brief flash of blue, the program displays a plain white interface and is not responding to any input. See attached partial screenshot.

I checked /var/log/messages and get this run I run the program though not when I sudo it:
Apr 25 10:29:32 centosdev gnome-keyring-daemon[2064]: asked to register item /org/freedesktop/secrets/collection/login/1, but it's already registered
Apr 25 10:29:33 centosdev gnome-keyring-daemon[2064]: asked to register item /org/freedesktop/secrets/collection/login/1, but it's already registered
Hello,

We are using the NW.js to create this standalone designer.
Sorry, sometimes it does not work as expected.
Please, try our samples from GitHub.

Thank you.
