All dates are returned as strings

Hi,

When generating datasets, all of the dates are being returned as strings instead of a proper date object, however the data is being returned as DATETIME from the SQL query.

This makes it difficult to use any formulas on them. I can make the change by editing the column and changing the datatype but once the report is re-generated, they are back to being strings again.

Is there any way to return dates as actual date objects instead of strings?
