Problem related to decimal grouping when exporting from table to Excel

Post by Ralf40670 »

Hello,

when data is exported from a table object to an Excel workbook,
decimal grouping signs get exported as part of the values.

In example:
Decimal grouping character is: .

Value displayed in table is 12.300,44.
Value exported to Excel should be 12300,44.
Value exported to Excel is actually 12.300,44.

The decimal grouping symbol must not be exported to Excel,
because it prevents Excel from using the value correctly in formulas.

I have attached a MRT file which demonstrates that behavior.
The attached Excel file shows how values are exported to Excel and how
they should be exported.

Regards
Ralf
