Dear Stimulsoft team,
The issue is the following: We have text cell with value (from date and to date [12/11/2017- 30/11/2017]). When the text does not fit into cell, text position over text cell, so part of it becomes invisible. We set properties can Grow, grow Height, text wrapping to true. But still, it does not grow to fit the text of it. Important to note: we can't set fontToFit or can shrink, because client has already set font-size which we are not allowed to minimize
Regards,
Iskandar

Re: CanGrow does not work properly
Hello, Iskandar.
If you can't change the size of the font, you could try to change the width of the text component.
Please, check the Can Grow property of the Data band.
Thank you.

Re: CanGrow does not work properly
Hello,
Yes, we checked and there is canGrow property set to true for DataBand. Is there any other option than changing the width of the text component? Why canGrow does not work to fit the content (does not grow enough to fit the text of the component)?
regards,
Iskandar

Re: CanGrow does not work properly
Hi Iskandar,
Sorry if you already tried it obviously, but could you please check that CanGrow was set to true for the DataBand Itself, as it looks like its height needs to be increased as well.
Also if the issue is still there, do you mind to attach the report template or the reduced mrt template of the report only with that problematic bit, so we could reproduce the problem?
Thank you,
Edward

Re: CanGrow does not work properly
Hi Edward,
Thanks for support. This is really hard to produce. Our report is quite dynamic. So simple report will not help. Well, I tried with this option and though did not succeed. It works for most cases. Like when font-size 7 or when size of the page is slightly bigger and so on.
We ended up with different solution.
Thanks in anyways,
Iskandar
