RichText Content Not Display Properly
RichText Content Not Display Properly
The RichText content will not display properly whenever I use set as default printer for CODESOFT DP-7645III
Is this a bug and how to solve?
My environment is Windows 10 64 bit
I'm using Stimulsoft .NET version 2016.2
The driver can be download from
http://product.code-soft.my/index.php?i ... &id_lang=1

Re: RichText Content Not Display Properly
Hello.
Please, try to set the Wysiwyg property of the Rich Text component to False.
We are taking settings of your printer to create more accurate RichText.
Unfortunately, in this case something goes wrong.
Thank you.

Re: RichText Content Not Display Properly
Hi HighAley,
Yes, I did try set wysiwyg property False but the output still the same.
I did tried using latest version 2018.1 of Stilmusoft .NET designer and the result also the same.
I did also tried using DevExpress Report Designer, no such problem encountered.

Re: RichText Content Not Display Properly
Hello.
Please, try also to set the system scale to 100%. (Wysiwyg should be false) If this solves the issue, we will try to make a fix.
Thank you.

Re: RichText Content Not Display Properly
Hello, Kenny.
This is very, very strange. The canvas of the printer is used when Wysiwyg is true or the system scale is not 100%.
Please, check that the Wysiwyg property is set to false and the system scale is set to 100% before running our Designer.
Could you also send a screenshot of the system scale settings. They could be in the different places.
Thank you.

Re: RichText Content Not Display Properly
Hello HighAley,
Yes, I had set Wysiwyg property to false and the system scale is also set to 100% as you can see from my attached screen, the output still 'squeezed' together.
For your information, there's no problem if I export this to PDF and it will show correct output. However preview, print to other printer, export to Excel, the output became 'squeezed' together for the settings you'd advised.
Perhaps you may download and install the printer driver and simulate it, so you can debug from there...
I'm using Windows 10 64 bit. Only happen when this printer driver installed and been set to default.

Re: RichText Content Not Display Properly
Hello, Kenny.
Sorry, we can't install the drivers.
You sent us a link to the DP7645 and DP-7645III drivers.
The first one could not be installed, the second archive is broken and could not be even unpacked.
Could you send us the driver that you use? Please, use any file sharing service.
Thank you.

Re: RichText Content Not Display Properly
Hello,
here's the printer driver. After download and install the driver, set the default printer to this printer then the issue can be reproduced.
