Need grouping + crossdata
Need grouping + crossdata
Hi Stimulsoft team,
I'm struggling with a report design.
I have 2 datasources, one field ("Plot") being common and the number of "FieldsX" changing all the time in each datasource. I'm trying to get following layout I tried many kind of designs, using Group bands, Crossdata bands, crosstabs... none of them give me the expected results.
How would you do obtain such a result?
Many thanks for your help. Attached the sample data.

Re: Need grouping + crossdata
Hi,
It works great, thank you so much!
Just one thing: it may happen that not all the fields are filled in for one plant.
For example, in this second example, you can see that plant 1 is not scored for field 6, and plant 2 is not scored for field 4. Still, all the headers shows up in the main header row.
Is there a way to do that? Crosstab maybe?
Thank you!

Re: Need grouping + crossdata
Hello,
In that case, you can make the following steps:
- add an additional data source with only grouped headers for Plant - Field5, Field6, Field7, etc
- and use it as master Cross-Data and for each plant use filtering
- add two groups blocks - one for headers, second - for data.
Thank you.

Thank you for your reply, but I'm not sure I understand your instructions, sorry... do you mind setting a quick sample report?
I'm joining my report, even though I'm not sure it's useful to you without data sample.
Many thanks for your help.
