URL Parameters Value

Post by mjimeno »

Hello everyone, I want to know if it is possible that the parameters obtained in the Stimulsoft viewer can be used as data in the report. In the image, the CUENTA parameter, I need the associated text to be located in the red box.

Parameter CUENTA:
Image

Dictionary:
Image

Variable CUENTA:
Image

I have created variables with the same name but I don't know if it is declared as a value or as an expression in case the text of that parameter can be inserted.

I leave images of what I have so far.

Thank you very much for the help.

Hello,

Use your variable as an expression for the text component.

Thank you.

Hi

I have a dashboard that contains variable (vOrgID) that contains a string used in a number of data sources / queries. During testing the variable was given a hard-coded value but ultimately the dashboard will be embedded in another platform and its needs to pick up the value for the parameter from the URL. e.g. address/dashboard?vOrdID=12345

Hope this makes sense?
