Problem PDF-Export with StiSegmentPagesDivider.Divide
Problem PDF-Export with StiSegmentPagesDivider.Divide
Hello Stimulsoft-Team,
i have another problem with PDF-Export and SegmentPerWidth > 1 (see my post viewtopic.php?f=9&t=56061).
When exporting to PDF some of the compontents from page 1 are shown as fragments on page 2. There must be still a problem in the StiSegmentPagesDivider.Divide() method. It all worked fine before the reimplementation of the Divide() method. (See page 2 of attached PDF file.)
Can you have a look at that? What can i do to get a correctly divided PDF Export?
Thanks and regards

Hello,
Similar to a rounding error, but without a report, it is difficult to say something.
Please send us a simple report with test data which reproduces the issue for analysis.
Thank you.

Re: Problem PDF-Export with StiSegmentPagesDivider.Divide
Hi Alex,
I attached Report, used excel data source and resulting PDF. I think the problem has something to do with the page margins.
The first page has to end with "TEXTTEXT" column at right page border (page end) and the second page has to start with date column. As you can see in the PDF file there is one additional column which does not belong to the report.(right on page one and left on page two).
Greetings
Thorsten

Re: Problem PDF-Export with StiSegmentPagesDivider.Divide
I think when dividing the pages during PDF export the margins should not be used inside the virtual page which stretches over two physical pages.

Hello,
In your reports there are following problems:
- in the first report - the edge of the text component is at the right edge of the page
- in the second report - are set borders for the DataBand
Thank you.

Hello,
i'm still asking me why a Report with correct preview (see file) can produce an incorrect PDF file?
