Expresion Editor - Text formating

Is there a way in the expression editor to format text differently other than the basic settings that apply to the entire Text block.
Can I wrap some code in { } brackets or something like this in the expression editor.

This text displays {bold=true} In Bold Here {bold=false} but not here.

This actually doesn't work, i tried, but is there correct syntax that will allow this?
