Group footer question

Post by dikan »

I have report where I make grouping upon field in data source table. I need record of related table to that field in GroupFooterBand but as group is ended in related field is data for next record to print in data source table. Maybe my explanation is somehow confusing I will try to give an example.

:GroupHeader

:DataBand
SomeData, SomeOtherData, DataThatRelatedToGrouing

:GroupFooter
DataFromTable that is related to DataThatRelatedToGrouing

This data is not from previously printed record but from record to be printed.

Best regards,

I'll try.
I am making a printout of the purchase of goods. Each commodity has its own tax rate. Tax rate is in separate table, that table is parent of commodity table. Commodities are grouped by tax rate. I made group header and group footer and all commodities are separated by tax rate. Group header is empty but in group footer I need to sum all value of good for that tax rate and calculate tax upon that tax rate, but when I reach group footer value for tax rate is wrong. It is belong to next group not group for that footer.
I hope I have better explained.

Best regards,
