PDF export with CMYK color schema

Post by ChristianH »

We need to provide a pdf file for a printing company with certain fonts- and colorsettings.
They need the color information embedded in the pdf file in CMYK format, not RGB.
When exporting (printing) pdf with "Adobe PDF" printer there are settings to achive this: colormanagement guidelines - convert all colors to CMYK.

How does the stimulsoft pdf export handle colors ? Are they all RGB colors or is it possible to transform it to CMYK color schema ?

PDF export with CMYK color schema

Post by Andrew »

Hello,

On the current moment all information about the color is exported in the RGB format.
In the nearest future we do not plan any improvements in this direction.

FYI, f it may help you, this summer we made some improvements in export, and now the OutputIntent table is inluded into the output file. This table contains the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile.

Thank you.
