RichText with canBreak and 'space after'
RichText with canBreak and 'space after'
Hello!
I'm having troubles using RichText with canBreak and 'space after' (\sa160).
Some times are lines left, per example bsp.pdf:
- Page 1 - Column 4 - line 'Zeile 5' left
- Page 1 - Column 5 - line 'Zeile1' left
without '\sa160' it works fine.

Re: RichText with canBreak and 'space after'
Hello,
We are using the standard NetFramework RichText component to show rich text. This component using a standard Windows library. And it has very limited functionality. Even for split text to parts, there is no built-in functionality, only hacks can do it.
And unfortunately, it is almost impossible to control these operations. So most of the time RichText is rendered "as is".
Also, each version of Windows has its own version of the system library, which may work slightly differently, differently calculating the height of the lines depending on the system scaling, fonts, etc.
For example, on Win7 lately, the library is often glitchy, giving less size than needed and cutting off the text on several lines at once.
A few builds ago we made a revision, which seems to have fixed the bugs with cropping, at least all the ones that we were able to reproduce.
On our test machines, your report works now without problems, so try the latest build.
If it does not help, it will most likely remain as is, or provide information about OS version, scaling, etc. and we will try to reproduce it.
Thank you.
