username and password in the connection string

Post by mehdi2375 »

Hi, I am designing a report. I am in the process of creating a connection and my database is Oracle.
Now the question is that I don't want to directly enter the username and password in the connection string, because I don't want other people to see it.

By the way, I don't know what prompt is for? Can I solve this problem by doing this?

I use version 2022.1 of StimulSoft Server
When I want to make a connection, I must enter the connection as follows:
Data Source=Test;User Id=eewewew;Password=wewewewe

Now I want to enter this username and password in such a way that the next time I edit the connection,
it will either be hidden or encrypted and... in any case, it will not be visible.

Hello,

You can add connections and data sources in the Navigator and deny for user modify connection.

Thank you.
