Removing Hyperlinks from PDF Output

Is there a way to remove the hyperlinks that are automatically created (for example, when the content is a website or email address) when exporting to a pdf? I tried the Export as Image property but that made it unreadable.

Unfortunately, the problem is not on our side.
There are no hyperlinks in the exported pdf file. They appear because of the settings in Addobe Acrobat and its browser plugin.
