Help with source for databands in subreports

Post by rgonzalez26 »

Greetings.

We are working with a report that uses subreports. In the example Report1.mrt we add the datasource of the databands on the subreports and we got the expected preview but with large number of data it becomes really slow generating the report:

In the example Report2.mrt we add the datasource on the databand of the principal report and leave the subreports databand with datasource not assigned. The time of genereting the report for large datasets is reduce considerably but the data is agrouped wrong:

Could you help us giving us any advise for the structure of these report? I attach both example reports

Hello,

Please send us test data that reproduces the issue. Also, please check the last release build, there are some optimizations in that direction.

Thank you.

Sure, thanks for your reply. Also the issue of the not spected grouping can be seen with the data that is incluided in the reports. I attach the test data.
