Tall Databand breaks onto new page

Post by eh13 »

I have a report where I have a tall databand with a group header, I have CanBreak on the databand set to true and KeepGroupHeader set to false, but the databand is 48.4cm tall so it naturally must break. Unfortunately when the report is rendered the first page has the group header and the rest is blank and page 2 looks exactly like page 1 should.

Is there a way to specify where a break like this occurs or to otherwise get the report not to waste the first page?

Hello,

The GroupHeader has NewPageAfter=true and BreakIfLessThan=90 set - if you disable this or set it to, for example, 80, it will work correctly.

Thank you.

Hi, I’m new to Stimulsoft Reports.NET. I’m trying to change the font size of a text component dynamically depending on the amount of text. What is the best way to make the font smaller automatically when the text is too long?

Hello,

You can use the ShrinkFontToFit property of the Text component.

Thank you.
