Calculated Columns Missing from Relations in Version 2026.4
Calculated Columns Missing from Relations in Version 2026.4
Hello,
Since upgrading to Stimulsoft.Reports.Web version 2026.4, calculated columns are no longer displayed when creating relations between two tables.
Our relations rely on calculated columns on both sides.
Is this an intentional change or a regression? Is there a workaround to continue using calculated columns in relations?
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
We checked the code - relations via calculated columns did not work on our side, so they were hidden. Please clarify in which version such relations worked for you. Could you send an sample report with test data in which such relations work for you?
Thank you.

Hello,
We used calculated columns in relations with version **2026.3.1.0**.
Please find attached an example dashboard illustrating this behavior.
Thank you for your help.

Re: Calculated Columns Missing from Relations in Version 2026.4
Hello,
The report you provided has no data, only its structure in the dictionary.
A custom data source is also used, and we don't know how it is implemented. Also, the report merely has a relation added, but it is not shown to work, since, as we already wrote, such relations could be added with calculated columns, but there was no code implementing them and they did not work.
Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
Please find attached another version of the dashboard for reference.
My question is specifically about the designer's behavior. In version **2026.3.1**, I can see calculated columns when creating relations, whereas in the newer version, these columns are no longer visible.
I would simply like to understand why this behavior has changed between the two versions, regardless of whether the relations themselves work correctly.
Could you please clarify why calculated columns are no longer displayed when creating relations in the newer version?
Thank you.
