I reviewed the report. While it now appears that the subassembly sizes are grouped, it appears the full list of unique subassemblies are listed below each product. I've attached a PDF of the result of the new report. Modified Subassembly Parts Report.pdf.
I've manually modified the pages on the Desired Subassembly Parts Report.pdf to show the report exactly as desired with the extra detail sections removed, and the total quantities on the detail part.

For clarity, I ran the report with the same data I sent you. Here is the result

My version is 69 pages long with the behaviour I noted previously. Any ideas why I would have a different result?

I'm having trouble changing the data source.
When I open the report from the same folder as the .sdf file, in the dictionary, the data source shows NewDataSet [Undefined SqlDatabase] I right-clicked and selected Edit.
When I hit Test, I get a "Connection error: Keyword not supported: 'datasource'.
I modified it to read Data Source= instead, and then I get the following error.
Error: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server.
The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.
(provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)
I tried various data paths, including creating an E:\ and placing the .sdf and report directly into the root.
As for updating, I copied the downloaded files over the contents of the C:\Program Files (x86)\Stimulsoft Reports.Net 2011.3\Bin folder. Is there anything else I need to do in order to ensure the files are up to date?

Hello,
This assembly enables you to connect to database SqlCe directly from the designer. This dataadapter can be downloaded from our website under Downloads - Database packs (for Stimulsoft Reports product line only) - SqlCe Database pack
Also in the attachments you can find already compiled file that will work with the prerelease build on 2012.02.23
Thank you.
