Pure HTML Report Viewer

Post by mj1856 »

Are you guys by chance working on a pure HTML report viewer? Perhaps using HTML5, jQuery, Modernizr, KnockoutJS, or any of the other similar new browser-only techniques?

I'd love to see something where we can feed report data and template from any simple REST service endpoint and have it render in the browser directly. Is this even possible with Stimulsoft technology? Maybe in the future?

We have HTML report viewer. You could find it in our Demo http://web.stimulsoft.com/
You could download our trial Stimulsoft Reports.Web 2012.1 product and evaluate it. http://stimulsoft.com/Downloads.aspx

Thank you.

Yes, but this is using asp.net on the server, correct? I was thinking of a PURE html solution. HTML / jQuery on the client, with ajax calls to rest endpoints for data consumption. No server side other than for exposing the data.

Hello.

Unfortunately, we have no such product.

You could evaluate the Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for Flex which need the flash player on the client side only.

Thank you.
