A Way to Reopen a. mrt File That Did not Render

Post by abufuad »

Hello,
I am not a developer. I am trying to create/use some reports for our site. I am having few problems, here are couple of things that are bugging me the most.
1. The inability to edit a .mrt file after an error is generated. Please see attached file for details ( Pages 1 & 2)
2. When used with Sitecore, the reports designer only renders the reports listed under the 'Analyze"->'Reports'->'Item Reports'. How come the rest of reports do not render when clicked? Pages 3 of the attached file.
3. Again when used with Sitecore, when I click open a report, it asks me to select the .mrt file listed on my local machine, how can I select an .mrt file that is on the site. i.e looking at page 3 of the attached file, how can I open the 'Visits' .mrt file using the repots desginer.

There is no Stimulsoft assemblies in the error stack. This error is not from our product.

Could you describe this issue more detailed. What do you see instead of the report?

It possible to do with additional coding only.

Thank you.

Thank you for your answers.

For #2,

If I go to the top Sitecore menu and click on 'Analyze->Reports' I can see a list of predefined reprots.I click on one of them and they render in Stimulsoft without a problem. However, if I try to render other out-of-the-box reports for example they do not work. For example if I click on the 'Latest Visits" report they are not rendered. Please see page 3.

Hello.

Could you give us access to the Sitecore to reproduce your issue?
You could send the account details to the support@stimulsoft.com with a link to this topic.

Thank you.
