Rendering in WPF vs WinForms

Post by Pilgrim »

Good day.

We currently use the WinForms version of Stimul Reports. Will these reports render exactly the same in the WPF viewer as they currently render in the WinForms viewer?

Also, we noticed quite a lot of differences between WinForms rendering and exporting to PDF. Will all these rendering/exporting engines be brought in line with one another?

The reason behind this is we allow the users to view a report inside the system, but we also batch export those reports to be sent to clients. Currently online viewing and offline PDFs look a bit different.

In WPF viewer report engine will be use WPF text renderer. Text will be will look not same to text in WinForms version. Also WPF text rendered will be used for CanGrow, CanShrink and AutoWidth properties work.
