Setting colors of a pie chart out of values from sql

Hello.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to set color of Pie chart using Auto Series Color Data Column property.
As a way you could create a style for your chart in the Style Designer and set it to the chart.
But it is still impossible to get colors from the Data Source.

Hi Aleksey, well that's sad. Could you please advice if its a bug in the pie charts considering that AutoSeriesColorDataColumn is a property in Pie charts ?
I am not sure why it is impossible to set colors of Pie chart?
Do you have any plans to fix this issue in near future?

Could you please confirm if you have fixed this issue in the pre-release build 'Stimulsoft Reports.Wpf 2014.2.1923'?
The list of changes does say - 'Fixed issue - The property Auto Series Color Data Column for the Pie chart.'

Hello.

Unfortunately, this is not a fix of your issue.
The AutoSeriesColorDataColumn property can't work with Pie chart as expected because of the peculiarity of its rendering process.
Maybe we will be able to change something but this couldn't be done fast.
Sorry, but we can't say when this situation will be changed.
