Hello,
There have been multiple versions of MS Word since this thread was last open. Having a link in a document doesn't seem like a crazy ask. Links are very useful

. Is there any chance you'll reconsider adding this back to your priority list? It's obviously possible.

Hi.
I know that this topic is old already, but I came across it when searching for the same the same thing.
Even if you can't use a hyperlink in the rich text, I found a little work around. It seams though as if this works only well when exporting to PDF. When I export the report to Word, the shape is not shown and the text is messed up.
Here is what I did.
Add a shape (I used a flowchart rectangle) and place it above the text you which to add the hyperlink to and add the hyperlink to the interaction of the shape. You can hide the border of the shape so when the user will have the impression to click on the text.
