Report errors - where did they go?

Hi again
Since the report I had problems with has both been changed and put on the backburner, I'm afraid I can't give any feedback on that right now.
I'm not sure what specific issue the last comment refers to, but I'm still missing the exception box in the WPF designer. It would really help shorten the time tracking down problems... is it on your to-do list at all?

Hello,
We made some improvements and checks in that direction.
Please check the next prerelease build from 07-Sep-2010 when it will be available.
Thank you.

Aha! The WPF designer does have error reporting! On the bottom bar in preview, there's a "Messages" button that opens a window displaying errors!
Unfortunately for me, while this is visible in the Demo designer I've somehow managed to turn it off in my unit test, which is why I've been asking strange questions.
I can't figure out how to get it back. Any hints?

Windows 7
C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Local\Stimulsoft\
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply
Unfortunately, that hasn't fixed my problem.
I tried
- Changing the UI theme
- Restoring UI defaults
- Deleting the files as suggested (two files "Stimulsoft.Report.Design.config" and "Stimulsoft.Report.settings" came back after running the designer again).
After that last one, my page designer reverted to the default zoom, and since I don't have the bar at the bottom, I can't make it bigger again.
This is strange; the bar appears fine when running the standalone Designer, or through the Demo program, but when run through an application or unit test, it's missing.
