Hi, I've only just joined the forum, and we've only just started supporting the Stimulsoft reports in our application.

Could you please clarify the following statement?

As far as I understand...
".pdf (Adobe's Portable Document Format) Fully supports vector graphics in a de facto standard format which can be read and printed on almost all operating systems. Can be used to describe an individual, free-standing diagram, or an entire page layout. Virtually all programs support the latter kind of output, but very few support the first type."

I have no issue creating PDF's in Adobe with both Vector and Raster images embedded, which both maintain their embedded form.
Is Vector support only a problem with generating PDF's from Stimulsoft?

Hello.

Yes. I meant that it's impossible to export vector graphics from our reports to PDF in vector format. All graphics is converted to raster images on export.

This seems to be half right or half wrong, depending on your perspective.
Using the Stimulsoft Reports for WPF Demo, the "Shapes" report, under the "Basic Reports", I've generated a PDF straight from Stimulsoft.

Please see this link for the generated output.

9 out of the 30 shapes on the page have been exported as Vector, and remain intact within the PDF. The rest are images.

Analysing the shapes, I would hazard a guess that only simple shapes are successfully exporting their vector properties.

If you read this topic carefully you will find out that here was discussing export of EMF and SVG vector images but not our Shapes.
Could you describe what problem do you have with our product?

I did thank you. In the following statement however, you explicitly said "All Graphics is converted". That is a blanket statement. You did not mention any exclusions.

If it is possible to convert EMF, SVG or any vector graphic to a form of vector or Shapes in the Stimulsoft report which can successfully be converted into PDF, then we are interested in knowing about it.
Reducing file size is important and critical to our Clients needs, as we are currently analysing the process for converting 200+ reports, some which contain various watermarks and headers with company logos.

It's impossible as we have already wrote it several times.

Could you send us any your report template with graphics?
Describe your problems with this report more detailed.

The report i send in attach is a template that we use, and the pdf that is generated is always 160Kbs of size, with only one line in the data.
