Our tests showed that it enough when Arial Unicode MS font is chosen in the report template and is installed on the server.

But if it was not enough in your case, we will do some more tests on different machines and try to reproduce the issue.

We will inform about our results in this topic.

Thank you.

Thanks for the help. Finally, I solve it after so many days. The web hosting company just installed the asian Language Pack into the server 2003, & suddenly, it can print out chinese characters.

Thanks for your wonderful help & support.

Hi Edward,
When i set TextQuantityMode to Standard, reportViewer display chinese character. But when I set TextQuantityMode to Wysiwyg, reportViewer display square. I'm using Times New Roman font.

Is there a way to overcome it?
Thanks!

Hello,

Most of the standard fonts does not contain national characters. In this case Windows uses the "font fallback". This algorithm is very complicated and, therefore, is not realized in the Wysiwyg mode. To output national characters, please, use the font which contain all necessary characters. For example, the "Arial Unicode MS" font contains many national characters.

Thank you.

Hi Aleksey,
Thanks for reply!
"This algorithm is very complicated and, therefore, is not realized in the Wysiwyg mode." Why not?
My customers don't want to use the "Arial Unicode MS" font.

Hello.

The Times New Roman font does not contain characters that you use.
You don't have to use Arial Unicode MS font. You could use any other font that contains characters that you use.

Thank you.

Hello,

We have plan to implement this algorithm in the Wysiwyg mode within this year.

Thank you.
