Memory Leak in Report Designer?

I'm using v2006.4
Some of my users have reports with many text boxes (between 50 and 100). Every time a user double-clicks a text box to bring up the editor, memory usage goes up anywhere from 500KB to 5 MB. Some of that memory gets reclaimed, but it seems to average a steady increase in memory usage to the point that Windows XP bogs down swapping memory around. At it's current rate, it's only good for 30 to 40 such edits before the user needs to close the report designer and then close the application so that the operating system can reclaim some memory.
I thought that maybe it was related to Undo/Redo functionality. But when I simply relocate text box objects in a report, the increase is not nearly so drastic. I suspect it has something to do with the creation/initialization of the text box editor.
Any suggestions?
