Hi,

I create a report with parent and child table relation. I have preview this report and result is coming correctly if i am use Old DLL's. The problem is that if i am use New DLL's which i download as (SR_2008.05.23_R2005) then records are messed up. That is all child records are coming under all parent records if the child record is either relative to parent record or not.

I am design the Report in the following ways
1. Firslty i drag the Master Table Band and select the fields in dialog which is open at the time of drag the band
2. After that i drag the Child Table Band and select their fields.
3. Then set the relationship and Master Band property of the Child Band
4. And save the Report Designer.

So, tell me the solution how to solve this problem.

Sorry for inconvenience with that build. We are on the way of implementing of the new report engine into our prerelease builds. From build to build we come closer to it. Our final result will be as follows the old and new engines in 'one package', so the backward compatibility will be granted for all 'very old' reports. In the same time a lot of advantages from using of the new report engine will be available when new reports are created (or an old ones are adapted if the user decides that it is necessary for him).

In that prerelease build were an error about retrieving of DataRelations from the Connection in the Dictionary. Please download the latest prerelease build. That error was fixed there.
