Keyboard usage in WebDesigner

Hi Guys,

if I call the WebDesigner programtically "StiWebDesigner1.Design(report);"

I cannot use the keyboard shortcuts (CTRL+C / CTRL+V, etc) as well as simply using the navigation arrows or the DEL key to remove a component.
I am able to use the keybord writing text anywhere I want.

However if I use the standalone Designer.exe I can use the keyboard.

I am using VS2008 and Stimulsoft.Web 2009.2.408.0

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Sebastian.

Hello,

Unfortunately, the combination of keys CTRL+C / CTRL+V / ect. are blocked by the browser, and it can't be helped.
Please, use alternative CTRL+Insert / SHIFT+Insert combinations.

Hi Andrew,

the most important Key is the DEL key to quickly remove components.
Is that blocked too or is there an alternative key we can use?

Thanks in advance,
Sebastian.

Hello,

We have added the test support of the DEL key and combination of Shift+C, Shift+V, Shift+X (instead of Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+X).
It will be available in the next prerelase build on Monday.
