Expression Editor bug
Posted: Fri Oct 30, 2009 7:04 am
We were wondering about the status of the following (this was reported directly to support [#HLI-250083] and not previously posted to the forum):
> When building an expression using a function in the expression editor,
> either double clicking or dragging/dropping a data source member to
> add a parameter leaves an extra set of curly braces around the member
> name. The user must manually remove these in order to run the report
> without error. For example, double click Avg function, place cursor
> between (), double click data source member:
> {Avg({Report_Data.BONUS_VALUE})}
Note: this is only an issue in the web version of the designer
Edward Pat responded on 10/20 "No problem, thank you very much for the clarification. We will inform you when the patch is available." but we have not heard anything since.
