Report parameters

I am trying to use the report parameters but I am having difficulty.

I am using the web flash viewer and designer

A) The documentation does not give examples
B) I can not find example code

I would like to do the following:-

1) Produce a report using a date range (Hopefully using caledar selection tool)
2) Allowing the user to generate a reports for a specific product (using a combo box to select the product (Unique list based on a field))

If this can not be done could you indicate whether this will be possible in the silverlight version or in future versions

This is an excellent tool even if the above is not possible
