Creating reports and dashboards | Stimulsoft community forum

Hi,

We are developing a Web application (mini ERP) for which we need a web report designer. Last couple of days I’m exploring your Reports.Web tool. It looks promising. But i have few questions and clarification before buying the software.

1. 99 % of our reports deal with parameters, which requires parameter dialog and also we plan to give the same ability (parameter dialog) to our customers at run time of our application.
- Currently Stimulsoft Reports.Web designer doesn't support form designer. Do you have any plan to include that in coming release?
- As per one of your forum reply, you have asked to use WinForm. If so, i have to purchase .Net designer separately to use WinForm or it is clubbed with Reports.Web?

2. Is it possible to show two columns in the ListBox and ComboBox dropdown (Example Code and Description in the dropdown and code as selected value for the parameters)?

3. I can able to view the parameter dialog created using WinForm in the web environment using WebViewer(AjaxWithCache) but not with WebViewerFx. Is there is a way to view parameter dialog created using WinForm in WebViewerFx ?

4. We have around 200 reports created using Crystal report 11.5; converter (Import Utility) doesn't convert them properly (lot of conversion error). Is there is any new converter to do so. If needed, i can attach a simple and a complex report for your review? This will reduce our design time.

5. I want to know your support plan and what are all covered under that and licensing details.

I can't give your any estimate date.

Reports.Web include standalone WinForms designer which can be used to create dialogs.

At this moment no.

At this moment WebViewer.Fx does not support dialog forms.

You can send your reports for our review. We can made some improvements in our tool.
