Retrieving fields used in report

The data source might contain 50 fields but only 2 are used in the report.
Is there anyway of retrieving which fields are used in a report?

It's theoretically possible.
But we need to know more information about your problem it give you more exact answer.

Hi Aleksey,
we have an app which allows configuring views on data by filtering, showing /hiding fields etc.
We want to integrate it with Stimulsoft.Web. So the user can click a button, the app exports the visible data to XML/XSD and then passes it to Stimulsoft Designer/Viewer.
Now it would be helpful to ensure that the user is only shown reports which have the fields they are currently displaying. e.g. the report would run without an error message because fields are missing etc.
Being able to extract which fields are used in a report when the report is saved would allow us to do this.
