I can say hello if you can use the StiWebViewer in an HTML page with sqlserver?
or can only be used in an asp.net page?

ok my question is if you can use stiwebviewer control within an HTML page as all the examples seen only used asp.net

No. The StiWebViewer is based on .Net Framework. This component is created on a server side. So it could be used on the ASP.NET page only.
