Conditional Formatting and Use of Styles

Hi,

is there a way to use in Repoert Generator two styles for conditional formatting, e.g. like

standard format of a cell: Style1
if (condition): Style2 ?

If I apply conditional formatting and select the style the Report Generator uses the contents of the style.
Therefore, if I change the style later I have to reformat all the cells in the report.

There is the option to use a function instead of selecting a style - unfortunately I have no idea how to use it.

Any hints?

Hello,

If we understood your question correctly, you can use Style in conditions.
Please see the sample report in attachment.

Thank you.

Hello,

the sample report shows conditional formatting as i use it currently - this is ok.

However, I store styles in external .sty-file for reuse in several reports.
Now, if I change the style in the .sty-file and reload styles to the report, the formatting used in the conditions is not changed.
I guess this is because the information about the style used is gone in the condition.

Is there a way use the new style definition instead of the old in the condition without manually changing each cell?

Hello,

We couldn't reproduce this bug.
Could you explain your issue in more details? How do you load the report and styles.
Which version of Stimulsoft Reports do you use?

Thank you.
