Sorting business objects - missing columns

Hello
When setting up sorting order on a data band, I came across an issue: I cannot choose any column from my business object as the column by which the band should be sorted. In fact, I can't even see the columns. See the picture below - the 'Items' object has two columns and they are not visible.

However, when the business object has some other object in it, the columns are visible - as shown in the picture below - and the sorting works fine.

Is there a fix or a workaround for this problem?

Business Objects are very complicated feature.
Could you send us a sample project for analysis?

Hello, I've managed to prepare non-working solution - we use the same mechanics in our application, so we would like to know what's wrong.
It worked in the previous versions.
