Hello,

We have a report that is rendering fine in report viewer, but when the user saves the report in Word / Excel format, some text fields were partially chopped off and the text cannot be seen fully (i.e. the Address & Tel/Fax Fields in Ref 1).

These text fields have the “Can Grow” and “Wrap Text” property both set as true and the font chosen is Arial Unicode MS (Ref 2). Due to customer requirement we were unable to select another font for the report.

There is another issue when saving the report in Word format as the layout seems to be shifted starting from the second page (Ref 3).

The output is much improved when the “Use Page Headers and Footers” were unchecked in Export Settings, but then the report is not looking good as the headers were not printed on the top of the page.

Is there any way to improve the output?

Hello.

The first problem with cutting the text is on the Microsoft Office side. It's impossible to know the hight of the cell. You could see it on the attached Excel spreadsheet if you change zoom level.

To answer your second question we need to know all Word export settings that you use. Could you send us your report template with sample data to reproduce this issue.

Thank you.
