Preparing report window

When open the preparing report window, it's not active, how can I do to active this preparing progress windows?
I'm using version 2013.1.1600 stimulsoft.reports.net.

When the report is loading, the progress windows appears and to cancel the report I need to click 2 times on the cancel button to cancel the report, but when I cancel the report with the keys (Esc, Space or Enter) in the progress windows, it works. What would be the problem?
